I first saw them at my in-laws and thought they were made of silk. To my surprise they were made of organic cotton and I ordered a blue and a lilac. Just perfect, soft easy to use. I found them to be slightly oversized but they fit well. My insert is made of polyester but these covers did a great job by masking the polyester and made them feel like silk with comfort of cotton. Will soon order the shams.
